It costs approximately £570,000 per year to provide our services
We are open seven days a week, 51 weeks of the year, and serve between 100 and 120 people every day. It costs approximately £570,000 per year to provide our services. The only two sources of assured funding we have at the beginning of each financial year is £60,573 from the London Borough of Southwark (our local authority) and £61,000 from regular standing orders (individual donors). The remaining 78% has to be raised.

Set up a Standing Order
You can either ask your own bank or building society to set up a Standing Order, or you can ask us to do it for you.
Please click here to download a Standing Order form that you can print out, complete and send to us. You can choose to make regular payment monthly, quarterly or annually. The form includes a Gift Aid declaration – see below for more information about Gift Aid.
Send us a cheque
Please make cheques or postal orders payable to “The Manna Society”, and post them to the Administrator, The Manna Society, 12 Melior Street, London SE1 3QP. If you would like acknowledgement, please include some contact information (ideally an email address).
If you are a taxpayer you can increase your contribution by 25% by signing a Gift Aid form – see below for more information about Gift Aid.

Charities Aid Foundation vouchers
Please make Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers payable to “The Manna Society”, and post them to the Administrator, The Manna Society, 12 Melior Street, London SE1 3QP.
You can also make payments from your CAF account via the CAF website.
Leave us a legacy in your Will
Please consider leaving us something in your will. A gift in your will to the Manna Society is a wonderful way to ensure that your compassion lives on and benefits those in need.
Gift Aid
If you are a taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift to the Manna Society by 25%, at no cost to yourself. All you need to do is complete a Gift Aid form and we can reclaim tax on your gifts – even back over the last 6 years! You must have paid at least as much tax as we reclaim. For example, we can reclaim tax of £25 on a gift of £100. This means that you must have paid tax of at least £25.
Higher rate taxpayers can also claim a tax deduction on their self assessment tax returns.
A Gift Aid Form can be obtained by downloading the Gift Aid form. Please complete and send it to us. You can cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time by contacting the Administrator at on 020 7357 9363 (option 3) or in writing to the Administrator, The Manna Society, 12 Melior Street, London SE1 3QP.
