It’s an eye opener to work in an environment where many who fall through the cracks of Welfare service provision can come, be served, feel safe and return again. It can be a place of transformation too, where people can enter with little hope and leave more hopeful after receiving a service or change from service user to volunteer. As reportedly the oldest day centre in Southwark, Manna is quite a place.
